At Yekibood Children, we create and develop our own educational materials such as music, illustrated flash cards, felt board activities, and alphabet games. The music that we create for our classes reinforces words and concepts practiced in each class. Considering that both music and language are embedded in culture, listening and practicing songs are great tools in cultural practice. It also provides joyful experiences for children in their language learning as they enjoy group or solo singing activities.
Illustrated flash cards visually reinforce words of the week, and provide opportunities for further cultural exchange between parents and children at home. In addition to the visual stimulation, flash cards are very effective in expanding children’s vocabulary. All our flash cards are original and painted weekly according to our lessons.
Felt board activities are proven to be very useful in providing stimulating visual and playful learning opportunities. Felt boards function as multi-sensory learning devices by simultaneously including children’s visual, auditory, tactile, and linguistic stimulation.
